Inaccurate Portrait of a Lady is an experimental publication that catalogues 50 Daguerrotypes from the Harvard Collection between 1840-60 and deconstructs the conventional poses, backgrounds, props and fashion found in them. The recurring elements like hands, facial expressions, furniture and clothes are junxtaposed with photographs taken by me of hands in public, handwritten facts about the subjects.
